Thanks to Geohot, you now know how to jailbreak the PS3 (Sony Play Station 3). Geohot demoed homebrew on the PS3 just yesterday and he is already back with a full PS3 hack.
He has released a package that enables anyone to install a custom homebrew on their PS3 and also enables hot loading of game files. It’s only for those on the 3.55 FW.
Head over to Geohot’s website and download the PS3 Jailbreaking files.

Buy the Apple iPad in India, Officially
India is probably not on Apple’s list of favorite countries, and it seemed like it would rather start shipping the iPad to some other planet before it got around to selling it officially in India.
But now, it seems that the Apple iPad is officially available in India. As of now, Apple resellers are selling it only in bulk to corporates, but it should be available in retail soon.
Apple iPad India Pricing?
16 GB iPad (Wi-Fi Only) – Rs 33,000
64 GB iPad (Wi-Fi + 3G) – Rs 54,000
This is what the pricing seems to be. The other models will be priced in this range. With such a high price tag, the Samsung Galaxy Tab seems to be a better option at Rs 36,000.

Sony Playstation PSP Phone Review: First Look and Specifications
It seems like the rumored PSP phone by Sony wasn’t a rumor after all. It’s very real, and it’s awesome. Engadget, today, revealed some detailed images and specifications of the soon-to-be-launched Sony Playstation phone.

Sony Playstation PSP Phone Review: Specifications
It will sport a horizontal slider design with a 4.1 inch touchscreen display and a sliding control pad. It will run Android 3.0 Gingerbread and will support both the Android Market and a custom Sony Marketplace which will offer games designed specifically for the PSP phone.
It will be powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor with 512 MB RAM. It has a 1 GB ROM and supports microSD cards. It will likely launch in Q1 2011, though a late 2010 holiday release seems plausible too.
Finally an awesome Android phone to replace my aging PSP and not-so-smart Symbian phone. The perfect device for all gaming geeks. Definitely my next phone (For real, this time).
For more details, head over to Engadget.
Note: I hope the Apple-Sony buyout deal doesn’t happen now, as we all know what the fate of this phone will be, if that deal does go through.

Paypal will stop withdrawals by electronic fund transfer to India from July 29, 2010. It seems that the electronic fund transfer is working at least for now. Though the charge for withdrawal via check is only $5, it takes around 10 days to be delivered whereas the electronic transfer took only 3-4 days. I’m not sure if the check withdrawal method will also be stopped soon too “in accordance with regulatory instructions”. I would advise all Indians to withdraw their Paypal cash soon, preferably today while the electronic fund transfer option is still working.
Note: Some good news though, Paypal will refund the $5 check withdrawal charge for Indian withdrawals until further notice.
Here’s the official email:
Dear Pathik Shah,
In accordance with regulatory instructions, we would like to notify you about a change in our withdrawal functionality in India starting on August 1, 2010. At present you can request for either an electronic or cheque withdrawal of funds from your PayPal account if you are an India user.
From July 29, 2010 onwards, you will only be able to request for a cheque withdrawal of funds from your PayPal account.
While we are working hard to restore the electronic withdrawal service, in the meantime, we are bringing this matter to your attention so that you can plan your future withdrawal activities accordingly.
To request for a cheque withdrawal:
Log into your PayPal account, click on 'Withdraw'.
Click on the 'Request a cheque from PayPal' link.
Enter the withdrawal amount and select your mailing address, then click 'Continue'.
Click 'Submit' to confirm your request.
In order to help you with this change and until further notice, we will refund the $5 USD cheque withdrawal fee to you for cheque withdrawals made on July 29, 2010 onwards.
For any questions, please log into your PayPal account and click 'Contact Us' at the bottom of the page.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused from this change in our withdrawal functionality. We will provide ongoing updates to you here. We thank you for your attention and patience as we work tirelessly to resolve this situation as quickly as possible.
Thank you,
The PayPal Asia Team
