Google Releases the Unlocked G1

A lot is happening in Android-land these days. After the launch of the Agora Android phone, Google today announced that it has launched a fully unlocked version of the G1.  The unlocked G1 comes with an unlocked bootloader that allows flashing of custom Android builds. It is called the Android Dev Phone 1 and will cost $399. You will also have to register as an Android Developer for a fee of $25.
