If you want to feel the WoW of Windows 7 but don’t want to install it using a DVD or if you want to install it on a netbook without an optical drive, you will need to install it using a bootable USB flash drive.

This tutorial will show you how to create a bootable USB drive using a Windows 7 ISO and use it to install Windows 7. There are two ways to do this; one involves a lot of steps while the other involves the use of a simple application – A Bootable USB.

To Create a Bootable USB drive of Windows 7, you need a Windows 7 ISO or DVD and a 4 GB USB drive.

Just download A Bootable USBDownload Link 1Download Link 2 and extract and install or run it.

Insert your USB Flash drive and click on Check USB. Select your USB drive and click on Format USB.

Insert the Windows 7 DVD or select the Windows 7 ISO and click on Start DVD / ISO to create a bootable USB flash drive.

You can now just insert the Windows 7 bootable USB drive and boot from it to install Windows 7.

Note: The utility won’t detect USB drives smaller than 4 GB. You can trim your Windows 7 ISO using vLite. This application also works with Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008.
