Finally!

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic has been officially launched in India. It is Nokia’s first attempt at a full Touch device and has had superb reviews at Mobile-Review. It is supposed to kill the iPhone, the HTC Touch Diamond and the Blackberry Storm.
It has superb specs,  killer looks and loads of features.

Nokia 5800 XM Specs:
  • Dimensions: 111 x 51.7 x 15.5 mm
  • Weight: 109 gms
  • Display: 3.2 inch TFT touchscreen, 16M colors, 360 x 640 pixels
  • Memory: 81 MB internal, 8 GB MicroSD
  • RAM: 128 MB
  • CPU: ARM 11 369 MHz
  • Connectivity: GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP.

  • Camera: 3.2 MP with AF, Flash

From the looks of it, it can totally kick the iPhone’s a$$, atleast in terms of features and sales.

It is priced at just Rs. 21,000, compared to some outrageously priced smartphones (Read: iPhone, INNOV8, Xperia X1)

Have a nice look, it is most probably going to be Nokia’s next bestseller, and my next phone :D .

Well the reason why the iPhone sells alot is because of the desirability factor. The iPhone costs 35k for 16GB and has a 2.0 megapixel camera but it looks so good that people don’t care about the features. BTW nice blog. Keep up the good work.

I am thinking of NOT getting a new phone so soon. Will use my 5700 for at least a year. Thinking of getting a new PC instead. Or maybe a Mac. *evil grin*

I’ve uncovered my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic cell to become the ideal general We’ve owned. Just desire it had a slide out qwerty keyboard! Anyway, it doesn’t so ample is ample. A bunch of people whine concerning the digital camera, it does suck, but it’s not that crucial to me-I have a good Canon SD950 digital camera if I want pics. I am really please with how customizable it really is and every one of the items I can do with it. Requirements charging practically everyday when utilised a fair bit. Considering about debranding it. Rogers (Canada) keeps factors rather locked down and also the greatest fw I were ready to upgrade to is v30 (anything like that cannot recall the exact number at the moment). Sounds like v40 has some good functions I’m missing out on.Nicely, glad I found this forum, I hope to study a great deal far more about what I can perform with my telephone.
