Here is a list of the Top Private and Public Torrent Trackers / Sites I know.
Private Torrent Trackers:
A private tracker is a tracker which allows only registered users to download torrents. The registered users are required to maintain a certain upload-to-download ratio and are banned if the ratio is too low. This ensures that the users don’t just leech the files but also seed them after downloading it completely, which in turn ensures that you get very fast download speeds.

If you need an invite to any of these private trackers, just leave a comment below with a valid email address. If I have any spare invites, I will forward them to you. 
You can also try BTRACS.com to monitor when these trackers open up for new registrations.
Public Torrent Trackers:
Public Torrent Trackers are open for everyone and you don’t need to register or maintain a upload to download ratio to download stuff. You won’t get much speeds in Public Torrent Trackers, but it is worth a try, especially since getting invites to Private Trackers isn’t easy.

Only private tracker I am registered to is demonoid, which I got onto by chance when you were able to sign up, and now they are down for some weeks. I also have an account through pirate bay and have a half dozen or so of my own torrents up there which I have seeded, reseeded, and seeded again.
Seriously if anyone has any invites for any of these sites, or any others I would be really grateful.
Ah should probably also mention that I am mostly looking for older Italian horror films, so perhaps someone coming across this may have advice on good sites to find this sort of thing.

Is this list ever updated? SPEED.CD isn’t listed, and it’s one of THE BEST(imho-IT IS THE BEST) sites around. Super fast speeds and we have aXXo. SPEED.CD beats Demoniod all around. It’s called SPEED.CD because it’s lightning fast!
EZTV.it is another good private site also. As the name suggests it’s for TV shows. The speeds aren’t always that fast, but they have a comprehensive list of shows and you can get back issues.

I don’t believe aXXo on SPEED.CD is a fake. And for the record… SPEED.CD doesn’t ask for money from it’s members, so how are they making money out of it? I’ve been a member for a year and I’ve seen the torrents posted by aXXo on SPEED, Demonoid and other sites and they aren’t fakes.
Where’s your proof that aXXo is in jail? aXXo has been on SPEED for a couple years, long before he stopped posting on Demonoid and other sites.

http://www.torrentsforall.net – I have been a member of this private site for years. It is well maintained by the staff, and has a great sharing community. They do enforce a proper ratio, so be ready to make wise choices at first, as you will have wait times as a newbie. After that, speeds can be crazy fast and I’ve never had a quality issue in over 1100 downloads. There is even an irc channel for support questions, but that sometimes requires a bit of patience…
